I don't know why, but I have been getting into metal lately. I used to make fun of metal and breakdowns all the time, acting like they were dumb and a musical crutch. They still are in most aspects of "hardcore" or whatever, I dont even know what I'm talking about. I have just been hanging out with a lot of kids from Redwood City who are into metal so I've been exposed to it a lot. Before that, I mainly just listened to one Embrace The End song with 4 breakdowns that were pretty brutal. Well that's enough type.
Some of those Redwood City kids were in a band called AS BLACK HEARTS BREAK.
ABHB broke up. Members of ABHB went on to form the european-screamo influenced band, LADDERS.
